My name is Amanda Cornwell and I set Trace Your Ancestors up in 2005 following the births of my children.

I have always had a passion for history and genealogy and researched into my own family history at a very young age.

Having studied history and attended genealogy courses and possessing a passion for family history - Trace Your Ancestors was born.

Since 2005 I have completed research on hundreds of family trees spanning the United Kingdom and Americas. I am more than happy to answer general questions if you are researching your own family history and have hit a brick wall - so please don't be shy.
